Draper open house

I remember going to the Las Vegas open house when i was a little girl. I remember thinking how beautiful it was and that i wanted to get married in the temple when i grew up. It was fun for me to see Grandma Smiths picture hanging in the Bridal room and Mom's doily on one of the alters. I also remember walking through the celestial room and Mom telling me we get to live in houses like this when we get to heaven. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I wanted our kids to have the same experience.
The Draper Temple is a beautiful Temple. My favorite part was the wall of glass looking into the baptismal font, it is amazing.
We all dressed up. I wanted us to all remember that we were going to a special place. The kids were quite the head stoppers, it is hard to miss three little girls in matching dresses.
The painting we are standing in front of was painted by Simon dewy and besides my grandma he is my favorite artist. Another one of my favorite parts about the open house was the amazing art work, it was all so beautiful.
we all had a good time and we all felt the spirit and i am glad we got to do this as a family.






I am so greatful for temples, and the blessings they bring to our family.

Out Riding

Girls night out

We have started doing a girls night out every other month. It has been such a blast. We carpool to Ceder City. It is in the middle for everyone so it works out good. This last one we had 17 people. The poor restaurant, I know we get a little crazy, but we are so excited and have such a great time. It is good to act like goofballs every once in a while

Our Little Vacation

We went with Travis on a business trip and it turned into a great vacation. We had tons of fun ice skating, playing around at Jump On It, sledding, playing with cousins, doing facials, and touring temple square. I love Bree's face in this picture she is such a crack up. Kaley is giving Emily a facial, Bobbi is giving Bree one and Taylor is giving Arianna. they would just take turns.

Plane ride

Travis has always wanted a plane. It has made things nice because we get to see him more. He uses it for work a lot. The kids love to go up with him. One of our favorite things to do is fly to mesquite and have dinner.
Travis took me up for a date night. we were up while the sun was setting. It was so pretty. I was a little nervous, both us being up there at the same time. Zed and Alise would have had a new ready made family if anything were to go wrong. I always feel a little nervous in flying in something i feel like i could lift j/k. It was a blast though.
