Basball, Softball, and more Baseball.

Kaley, Taylor, and Joe all did baseball this year. That is about 6 to 8 hours of baseball a week. It has been fun going to there games. They really enjoy it. Kaley made all stars. She definitely doesn't take after her Mom.

Home from Africa

We are so happy to have Travis back. Affrica is a scary place. He has so many crazy stories. We missed him so bad.

What a goof ball.

Gradma crochet like crazy. she donates little hats and head bands to all these bald and beautiful girls. Ari is a great model.

Arianna our Angel

In scripture study we were talking about how the people of anti nephi lehi considered Ammon and his brothers to be angels. We were talking about who in our lives we thought to be an angel. Arianna is our angel.

Ari's hair cut

Before picture

Ari had about 40 hairs left so we decided to even the cut out. I think she is so cute. I put the left over hair in a little baggie for her scrap book. She walked around showing us all her haircut, even though it looked like there was nothing in the bag.
Lately She has been my puppy. I love petting her bald head and watching her little tricks. She cracks me up.

Our Vacation Home Sweet Home

I love my Home. Pretty much because of the people I'm with when I'm in it.

Everytime we get to go home it feels like a vacation one that you never want to end. We live it up pretty good everytime we our back.

This is our home made hot tub.

Out Shopping

She loves this shopping cart. She has been roaming the ICS unit with this thing. Most of the nurses didn't know she could even walk. I love watching her enjoy being a toddler. Even though her Mom is not a hugh fan of pushing a shopping cart around and shopping in general she sure enjoys it.

Back again

We have been back in the hospital for a while. This time has gone wonderful so far. She has had so much energy. Until her counts went down Ari was out roaming the halls with her grocery cart. Most the nurses didn't know she could walk. We are now confined to our room so she is wanting to be entertained all hours of the day. We are hoping her count recovery won't take very long. we are also in the suite. It is the biggest room they have. The extra bed in here is huge. My poor Mom has had to deal with the chair bed this whole time.

We got to be home for about 10 days. The weather was amazing. We tried to enjoy every minute we had. It was beautiful. We love St George.

The kids are playing baseball and softball and having fun. Taylor hit a grand slam in his first scrimmage game. He was so happy.

We Love our aunt Amber. I copied this from her blog.
Lipstick Mommy...

I went and spent the day with Ari, Haley and Lori up at Primary Childrens. I had talked to Haley on Sunday to see how they were doing, she told me Ari was doing really well and that she had started gaining her weight back. I remember thinking... "Wow, that is great news..." then I get to the hospital on Tuesday... and she has her cute chubby cheeks again! She looked like a different baby compared to the last time that I had been at the hospital with them. Ari was so much fun. As soon as she saw me walk into the room I heard her mumble something to Haley in a little tiny voice, that only Haley could hear. Haley giggled and said, "she wants some lipstick..." I always offer Ari lipgloss when I am there because she is always picking the skin off of her lips and when she has pretty gloss on she doesnt do it. It was so cute that her first words to Haley when I walked in were "lipstick Mommy..." I let her keep it in her purse until I had to leave that night. Ari is also walking all over the room she is in... yes this time they actually have room to move around each other. She is so cute, she has a mini WalMart shopping cart that she puts all of her valuables in and she pushes them around her room. Haley, Lori and I have been making headbands and there were little pieces of yarn scattered around the hospital room floor, Ari would walk over to them, and her little stomach is still a little big so its hard for her to bend over, but she would bend over and pick the pieces up and throw them away. Haley says that she is a little clean girl. She likes to make sure that everything is picked up and nice. I loved spending the day with all of them it was so fun! I hope :-) that they are.... and I hope that they arent :-) still there this weekend...
Lori gave me some recipes for some healthy bread that will be good for Jake and I since we have been starting to eat better. Its 100% wheat bread, with a few extra items to make it extra delicious. I stayed up until 2:00 am last night because I wanted to try making it as soon as I got home. It was fun and the bread turned out so good. She had one that was cinnamon and raisin flavored, which I really liked, but I knew that Jake wouldnt touch it... so I used dried blueberries instead of raisins and I took out the cinnamon. It turned out really good! But I do have to say that the plain wheat one was better! So thank you Lori for being a domestic Goddess when it comes to cooking fun, new things. You are awesome!!
I asked God to take away my pride, and god said, "No."
He said it was not for him to take away, but for me to give up.

I asked God to make my suffering child whole, and God said "No."
He said her spirit is whole, her body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience, and God said "No."
He said that patience is a by-product of tribulation, it isn't granted; it's earned.

I asked God to give me happiness, and God said "No."
He said He gives blessings. Happiness is up to me.

I asked God to spare me pain, and God said "No."
He said suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to Me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow, and God said "No."
He said I must grow on my own, but He will prune me to make me fruitful.

I asked God if He loved me, and God said "Yes."
He gave me His only beloved Son who died for me. And I will be in Heaven someday because I believe.

I asked God to help me love others as much as He loves me.
And God said, "Ah, finally you have the idea."
